The Advanced Certificate in Full Stack Development is awarded by SIFT Global — School of Innovation and Future Technologies, and delivered through the SIFT Global Distance Learning Programme (DLP). Learning resources are delivered through MernCode Academy (MernCode.online).
Entry requirements
Who can apply
- G.C.E. O/L or equivalent recommended
- No programming experience needed, but basic computer skills are essential
- Able to read technical material and follow lectures in English (support is available in Tamil and Sinhala)
- Complete the self-paced Module 0: Readiness before Session 1
Equipment
What you need
- A laptop or desktop with at least 8 GB RAM (phones and tablets are not suitable for coding labs)
- A stable internet connection for Zoom, and a microphone or headset
- 4–6 hours a week for practice
- All software used in the course is free
